Mule Ears, Big Bend Nat’l Park Kids T-Shirt

One of the classic views in Big Bend National Park is Mule Ears Peaks which, you can see, look like the ears of a mule rising from the floor of the Chihuahuan Desert. These peaks are actually two dikes that run parallel to each other. At one time, the country rock between them spanned the two peaks. But over many years, that rock has eroded leaving the “ears”.
